His Voice

My journey to this stage of my writing process has been much like trying to drive on the Oklahoma roads!

Potholes

   Construction Cones

      Detours

        Closed Ramps

     Resurfacing

 Tolls

Each of these were annoying and time consuming, not to mention lately – expensive, but the personal growth I’ve gone through so far is worth it. I know I’ll keep running into these distractions and hiccups. I also know that I’ll keep going because I will have you to go along with me!

Many have asked me what my story is about. Well, let me share with you now!

Sarah is a young woman who hears a voice in the middle of her suicide attempt and the events that unfold afterwards catapult her into a journey of discovery where she learns the truth about herself and the voice in her heart.

Sarah is running from voices. Not only the voice of her abusive husband, but from the voice she heard when she was under the water. Escaping the abusive environment with the help of her housemaide, she finds herself in the Indian Territory a broken and hopeless woman. She learns that her husband has found her in that rugged land but the voice continues to reach out to her in her times of desperation. It is in this place that she discovers who the voice belongs to, that hope can be restored, and that there is an even greater voice who will redeem her broken heart.

I can’t wait to share this book with you all! Currently I am finishing my full book proposal to turn into the Literary agency. Prayers and good wishes are more than welcome.
